Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential health, safety, and environmental hazards
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for hazard control measures.
- Organize and conduct safety training programs for construction and landscape teams.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, or near misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate HSE requirements into project planning and execution.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE programs and initiatives.
- Ensure that all personnel have access to and effectively use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Advise on waste management and environmental sustainability practices in construction and landscape projects.
Requirements- A bachelor's degree/Diploma in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in HSE roles within the construction or facilities management sectors.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough investigations and compile comprehensive reports.
- Proficiency in organizing and delivering training programs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and recommend control measures.
