CIVILSTRUCTURAL ENGINEER

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

As a Civil/Structural Engineer you will play a critical role in designing analyzing and overseeing the construction of civil and structural components integral to upstream oil & gas facilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop detailed designs for civil and structural components including foundations platforms pipelines and retaining structures
• Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to develop project plans schedules and budgets
• Provide input during the conceptual feasibility and detailed engineering phases of projects
• Apply knowledge of relevant codes standards and best practices in civil and structural engineering to ensure the integrity safety and reliability of oil & gas facilities
• Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into project designs
• Provide technical support during the construction phase of projects including reviewing contractor submissions conducting site inspections and resolving technical issues
• Identify potential risks related to civil and structural engineering aspects of projects and develop mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare technical reports design documentation and other project deliverables in accordance with company standards and project requirements
• Maintain accurate records of project activities changes and approvals.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
• Candidates MUST be immediately available
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• 7 years of experience in civil and structural engineering within the oil & gas industry with a focus on upstream projects.
• Experience in working with Engineering phase is mandatory
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD SAP2000 STAADPro and/or similar programs.
