Job Description
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic testing to evaluate patients' respiratory health
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' response to treatments and adjust therapy plans accordingly
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory health management techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans
- Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of respiratory equipment
- Document patients' progress and provide accurate reports to the healthcare team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field
- Valid certification as a Respiratory Therapist
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
- Knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
