Job Description
- Degree in civil/transportation engineering from a recognized institution
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in traffic operations and ysis of various traffic projects preferably in Gulf region.
- Potential to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communications ss, and a familiarity of industry practices and regulations are required
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and be able to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on project
- A strong understanding of transport modelling, demand forecast and multi-modal odologies
- Must have in-depth experience with Traffic Impact Studies, Traffic Operational ysis
- Must have thorough working knowledge with traffic ysis tools such as SYNCHRO, VISUM, VISSIM, HCS and other traffic engineering – modeling software
- Must have experience in parking management, parking demand and supply, parking design within buildings, traffic circulations, determining the number of accesses/egresses
- Familiar with UAE and local standards such as Roads & Transport Authority of Dubai guidelines and procedures for transport studies
- Excellent report writing ss, preparation of presentations. Must have excellent written and oral communications ss in English
