Implement corporate HSE Policy, HSE plan and HSE legislation and other requirements, monitor HSE performance, HSE targets and suggest measures for further improvement.
Make sure that client’s safety requirements are being full filled.
Liaise with safety manager and contractors for the improvement & implementation of corporate HSE management ethics.
Monitor contractors to ensure the implementation of applicable safety measures at site to full fill Legal and client requirements.
Review Site safety Plan, Emergency plan, and other safety related plans submitted by the contractor. Review od Statement and risk ysis for all activities and monitor the effectiveness of hazard control measures. Carry out HSE inspections and report to resident engineer for immediate rectification.
Review and monitor contractors monthly HSE inspections / reports.
Conducting monthly Safety meetings, setting the target to achieve the outstanding issues, prepare / submit the minutes to all concern to follow-up.
Review emergency preparedness and response, permit to work system, Toolbox Talks, HSE statistics & records of the contractors according to company requirement.
Review incident/accident investigation reports from contractors, reporting & communicating the learning points, and monitor the immediate action and follow-up actions to minimize / prevent from re-occurrence.
What Required Ss You'll Bring
At least a Bachelor’s Degree in any Construction related Engineering Degree or Occupational safety and healthand internationally approved Safety courses.
Minimum 8+ years’ experience as Safety Engineer in infrastructure projects in UAE.
With recognized Health and Safety certifications, license or training in UAE (e.g. ISO, NEBOSH, First Aid, Fire Safety, etc).
