Job Description

  • A running function that is in need of leadership, you will be mainly responsbily for driving the growth and function of the department.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies aligned with organizational objectives, leveraging insights into market trends.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for PR clients, fostering strong relationships and providing strategic counsel to meet their communication goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of PR professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media contacts, securing impactful coverage across print, digital, and broadcast channels.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling press releases, articles, and other communication materials that effectively convey clients' messages and narratives.
  • Drive the planning and execution of PR events, from press conferences to product launches, ensuring seamless coordination and maximum media exposure.
  • Develop proactive strategies and protocols to effectively manage crisis situations, safeguarding the reputation and integrity of clients and the agency.
  • Monitor and analyze PR performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to clients and internal stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory developments in the PR landscape, actively participating in industry events and forums.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in PR, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of executing successful PR campaigns in Dubai, preferably within the marketing or advertising industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve excellence.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans and measurable results.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, media contacts, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and PR software/tools.
  • Knowledge of Arabic language is advantageous but not essential.
