Job Description


Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and process invoices for clients accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records and reconciling accounts
  • Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues raised by clients
  • Update and maintain client billing information in our database
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper billing and collection procedures are followed
  • Communicate with clients and provide exceptional customer service to answer billing-related inquiries and resolve any concerns
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances and ensure timely payments
  • Prepare and distribute monthly reports on billing activities
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements and efficiencies

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is a plus
  • 1-2 years of experience in billing or accounting, preferably in a professional services or finance industry
  • Strong knowledge of billing software and financial systems
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Familiarity with billing laws and regulations is a plus
  • Proven track record of providing outstanding customer service
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflicts effectively
