***This is an onsite/hybrid role in Nashville, TN***
Lead a growing media activation team, negotiating, activating and optimizing brand performance across
all channels
- Traditional Local TV/Radio, National TV/DRTV/Programmatic/Addressable, National Radio,
OOH, Print, Direct Mail
- Digital programmatic and site-direct digital (CTV, OTT, OLV, display, native, digital audio), paid
search, paid social
- Recruit, mentor and train channel activation associate directors, managers and specialists who
negotiate/activate performance-oriented campaigns efficiently and flawlessly.
- Collaborate with Performance Analytics director (or third party resources) to ensure accurate and
consistent monitoring, optimization and reporting of campaign performance at varying cadences (daily,
weekly, monthly, post-campaign, etc.)
- Collaborate with Channel Strategy and Performance Analytics teams to devise tracking and
measurement strategies aligned to channel and marketing objectives.
- Serve as an agency subject matter expert and thought leader on best practices for channel activation
and performance optimization.
- Responsible for overseeing finances associated with channel activation – including vendor contract and
insertion order management; negotiation, execution and confirmation of buy; reconciliation of vendor
invoices; and Channel Activation team’s role in the preparation of client billing.
- Able to operationalize improved processes and procedures, new technologies, models, data tools, and
capabilities as necessary to maintain a modern and forward-looking activation team.
Experience Required
- 10+ years progressive experience in media buying and activation in an agency environment, inclusive of
traditional and digital media channels.
- Solid leadership ability, with strong emotional intelligence; ability to lead and grow results-oriented
teams. A passion for mentoring and developing employees.
- A background in activating brand and performance-oriented campaigns across both traditional and
digital channels.
- Experience overseeing investment budgets exceeding $100M.
- Experience negotiating and activating omni-channel campaigns with media and/or sports/entertainment
properties (i.e., media, content integrations, sponsorships, partnerships).
- Familiarity and experience with major traditional and digital activation data and technology

- Social buying platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Search buying platforms (Google, Bing) and bid management tools (we use SA360)

- Google Tag Manager
- Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics
- PREFERRED Experience with marketing platforms (Salesforce, Adobe, Oracle, etc.)
