Accountabilities
- Executing assigned scopes of work
- Supporting and supervising task delegation to team
- Providing discipline expertise to the business
- Participating and preparing reports for project studies, and other ICSS workshops when required
- Providing sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline
- Co-ordinating with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up
- Providing technical support to site/Affiliate as required
- Producing and reviewing specifications, data sheets, schedules, study reports, and design calculations; ensuring that they
conform to engineering quality, competence, and project management systems
- Attend CTR meetings and communicate issues with Engineering Manager as required
- Interact with team members in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Advanced expertise is required:
- In Control System and Instrumentation in oil & gas project/industry specially for onshore fields.
- In project at all life-cycle stages of project development (Basic and Detailed Engineering, etc)
- Proficient to the codes and standards in the oil and gas industry i.e. API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA, etc
- Adept at designing and engineering for the Instruments and control systems like DCS (Conventional & Field bus), Fire & Gas, Safety shutdown systems, Remote telemetry units, Gas metering systems, SMART instruments, Liquid metering systems, Multiphase flow meter, High integrity pressure protection systems (HIPPS), HVAC, field instruments like transmitters, Control valves, Shut down Valves and Choke Valves, etc.
- Strong knowledge with International Structural codes (i.e. API, AISC, DNV, Eurocode) and Clients General Specifications related to structures.
