Minimum Qualifications for Consideration:
- Education: Qualified candidates will possess, at minimum, a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or technical discipline. Preferred candidates will have equivalent experience and supervisory experience.
- Experience:
- Technical knowledge, education and experience are required.
- Proficient knowledge and business use of Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Power Point, Word and Excel.
- Understand and operate product testing equipment.
- Understand, interpret, and develop technical standards.
- Previous technical writing experience and proficiency, including written technical reports, is preferred.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:

- Frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions.
- Occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions, extreme cold (non-weather), extreme heat (non-weather), risk of electrical shock and vibration.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate or loud.
