- Support Project Manager and design team in developing the Engineering Management Plan
- Provide inputs to a software-design-requirement with achievable test verification, fully traceable from development through operational test
- Support systems architecture and lead the transition to software architecture components and views with an emphasis on modular, open architecture implementations
- Support Earned Value Process through evaluation, execution and impact assessments to technical performance by identifying risks and presenting mitigation options
- Analyse requirements to support software design, test and traceability from development through operational test including incorporating software design-oriented thought processes, as well as ensuring verification oriented results
- Support test activity from test case development through test script execution
- Support generation of material for contract deliverables
- Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyse, plan, design, develop, and/or evaluate requirements for product systems
- Prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation
- Ensure the alignment of product design with requirements
- Develop design and product specifications
- Conduct functional analysis to ensure safety of the systems, sub-systems and interface
- Write the functional requirements of systems, sub-systems and components
- Produce the technical deliverables on time required by Project Management
- Perform other tasks like technical baseline management of the programme, confirming technical performance of the product, validating evaluation/flight test results of sub-systems and product and conducting verification of product performance against System Requirement Specification
Experience & Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 8-12 years of experience in System engineering in the Defense industry
