To create and maintain a student training program in conjunction with business demands and recruitment levels.
In conjunction with the Health & Safety Officer, ensure that our statutory obligations to the Health & Safety of our guests and associates are fulfilled.
Monitor present and future trends, practices and systems in the L&D field making necessary recommendations to enhance our business profitability.
Create a succession planning monitoring system that supports individual career development and our business goals.
Training Delivery
To develop, manage and deliver a professional induction mentoring program where all employees are given a comprehensive hotel induction and are given the correct information regarding the company, the hotel and their job.
Ensure that all necessary statutory training is carried out to comply with government legislation.
Establish and monitor departmental skills training via a mentoring system to enhance individual competence, using departmental trainers effectively.
Establish and deliver training to enable an excellent guest care culture throughout the group.
Design and implement opportunities to widen employee experience through – reading, films, external vocational training, cross training etc.
Develop and deliver supervisory and Management skills training to enhance individual competence and support succession planning activities.
