Job Description
- 4 year degree in Engineering (Civil or Environmental discipline) and Master’s degree in water related discipline.
- Minimum15 years of related work experience with 5 years related experience on water/wastewater projects within UAE/GCC.
- Prior experience in design of water/wastewater networks is required.
- Advance engineering knowledge in design of urban and industrial wastewater systems.
- Must have the ability to manage projects, interface with clients and enjoy being hands on technically in the project.
- Candidates with professional qualification (PE, CIWEM or ICE etc.) will be preferred.
- Knowledge and experience of civil design practices, common international design standards, and codes in the design of roads, sewer/water utilities, earthwork, grading, drainage, and site design, has knowledge and experience in the design of residential subdivisions, commercial and industrial site design, street and highway design, and fundamental surveying practices.
- Familiarity with CAD (Civil 3D) and other PC software packages typically associated with wet services engineering is also required.
- Regional/international experience of wastewater systems design and management strategies in comparable situations.
- We are looking for a team player with strong inter-personal, communication and excellent report writing skills.
- Experience in on-the-job training and mentoring in wastewater design and management skills.
- Advance engineering knowledge in design of urban and industrial wastewater systems.
