Job Description
Key Requirements
- LLB qualification with a minimum of eight years' post-qualification experience (PQE) as an in-house or practicing lawyer in the financial sector
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of conventional and Islamic banking products, along with a strong understanding of laws relevant to banking and contract law
- Exhibit good interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration and engagement with internal teams, external legal counsel, and other stakeholders
- Bring a meticulous and detail-oriented approach to legal work, ensuring accuracy and precision in reviewing and drafting legal documents
- Previous banking experience and familiarity with Islamic Documentation would be advantageous for the role
