German Speaking nanny needed for genuinely kind, friendly and relaxed family in Leyton, E10, to care for their 2 year old son
50 hours per week. 8am til 7pm Monday - Thursday and a half-day (8am tiul 1pm) on Friday, but also open to other arrangements.
Salary 50,000 Per year dependent on Experience, Skills and qualifications.
"We are looking for a German-speaking nanny to look after our 2-year old son. We recognise that every nanny will have her own approach - we welcome initiative and try not to be too prescriptive about how days are structured.
Family is expecting a new baby to arrive in June and mum will have some maternity leave, but she will look after the baby mostly and nanny will be in charge of the 2 year old. mum and baby will work together a bit, but mum is very friendly and relaxed and will trust nanny to do the best for the children and will not be interfering ;)
Broadly speaking, the duties would involve:
1) Care for the child and tend to his needs at all times.
2) Take the child to and from activities/playgroups/nursery.
3) Prepare healthy meals for the child.
4) Ensure the child has time outside, including walks / playground visits /etc.
5) Keep the childs rooms and areas used by him clean and tidy,
6) On occasion, prepare evening meal for the family / perform light housework (we have a regular cleaner so this would be limited).
Opportunities for travel, but not compulsory.
We are expecting a second child this summer. For the first year or so, this wont be the nannys primary responsibility as we will have parental leave and/or a maternity nurse. After that, however, the nanny would likely be looking after both children." mum is expected to return to full time work around April next year.

This family is happy to respect nanny having her own approach and may do things differently to them. Happy for nanny to take charge.
2 year old little boy is well behaved and easy going.
Both parents can speak / understand German, although one is British and one is German.
The family go on holiday to the alps and to ibiza and are happy for nanny to join them. It is not compulsory.
Requirements
Fluent German speaker
Up to date Enhanced DBS (you can apply through Kinder Nannies & Staff)
Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate
Right to work in UK (& already living in the UK) and have proof
Good references for recent, long term nanny jobs
Able to run after small children
Please note this is a strictly Non smoking position.
