Job Description
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of all the Fabrication Department to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures.
- Substituting the Fabrication Department Manager during his absence, when appointed so.
- Analysis of job specifications, pre-planning of priorities, establish production objectives, schedules to ensure timely delivery of all project undertaken with required quality and safety standards.
- Evaluate the resource loading for Fabrication work across NB segments, ship repair and Conversion.
- Random inspection of worksite in order to make sure the optimum utilization of available resources.
- Control and coordinate with all sections for smooth operation of the department.
- Approve Material Requisitions.
- Discipline employees, according to the disciplinary procedure, whose behaviour contravenes disciplinary code.
- Planning and controlling advance fabrication.
- Ensure field reports are done timely and with good justify.
- Support Commercial Department during bid stage when requested by Department Manager.
