As Machine and Automation Electrician at Wes-Tech Automation Solutions () in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, you will assemble, de-bug, assess, repair electrical problems on automated equipment/electrical systems of unique-build automated machine

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Perform wiring portion of project builds while adhering to standards for Good Wiring Practices
  

• Assemble electrical sub-assemblies & PLC controls from drawings, specifications, work instructions, schematics
  

• Establishes clear priorities, order, sequence for wiring on each project
  

• Work with builder to create wiring plan
  

• Does what it takes to ensure that the project is completed on schedule and budget
  

• Provides quality output that does not require rework
  

• Tests the wiring under Power up conditions
  

• Adheres to wiring & system safety
  

• Identifies/communicates areas for improvement and rework
  

• Reviews/verifies itemized list of parts needed for the build
  

• Competes testing, necessary improvements, and refining of the wiring/functions of the machine; Reassembles machine at customer s site identically to the way it was after de-bug

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma (or GED). At least 1 years of experience wiring and debugging electrical systems in machines including:

• Able to read, interpret, wire using schematics
  

• Can mount/wire switches, lights, panel devices with quality workmanship
  

• Learn/utilize ERP, MS Office, and time keep systems
  

• Anticipates/accommodate future needs during the build phase
  

• Assures final design meets specifications
  

• Ability to lift up to 40 on a consistent basis
