This Junior Estimator jobs in Newbury. Based in our clients head office, and production facility, youll work closely with the Operations, Sales and Project teams.
In this Junior Estimating job you ll play an integral role in supporting the commercial. success of the company.
Responsibilities will include calculating and compiling sales quotes, creating bill of quantities, as well as sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and sub-contractors, for the design and delivery of environmental branding solutions.
To be considered for this Junior Estimator job youll need tangible knowledge and / or experience. This could range from Graduating with a qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar course through to having already gained experience working in a relevant role.

About this Junior Estimators job
In this Junior Estimators job you ll report to the Head of Operations and ultimately be responsible for the creation of sales estimates and client quotations that meet customer project requirements. Supporting the sales team to convert leads by providing commercially astute quotes for them to present to their clients. And ultimately help drive the commercial success of the business.
The Junior Estimator jobs responsibilities will include:
- Working with the sales & operational teams, & supply-chain partners, to provide accurate & timely quotes
- Liaise with production to determine whether manufacturing should be done in-house or sub-contracted
- Negotiating prices to obtain s for materials & sub-contract services
- Create bill of quantities and sales estimates
- Maintain accurate price lists to increase efficiencies in the estimating process

So, to be considered for this Junior Estimating job you ll need tangible knowledge and / or experience either gained through graduating with a relevant qualification, or working in a similar role.
In addition, youll also need the following:
- Be willing and able to work in the Newbury head office
- High levels of accuracy, attention to detail & display good written & numerical skills
- Excellent IT literacy, particularly strong Excel skills
- Be methodical, organized, process orientated & able to produce accurate work to meet deadlines
