Yoga Instructor

• Design, prepare, and teach classes of various yoga practices and techniques
• Create and maintain a positive atmosphere suitable for effective learning in the classroom
• Communicate with students about policies, class fees, class schedules, etc.
• Develop and implement teaching plans that meet the specifications of IIQAF
• Respond to questions and engage in meaningful conversations about the practice of yoga
• Promote community-building opportunities among students
• Ensure that all students participate in the class with safety and enjoyment
• Maintain cleanliness of the practice area
• Embrace and foster a community-based approach to yoga instruction
• Monitor student performance, provide feedback and make corrections as needed
  

Qualifications

• 2 year of prior experience teaching yoga
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Calm and confident demeanor
• Ability to incorporate breathwork and relaxation into instruction
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
• Dedicated to personal growth and development
• Passion for yoga
