Job Description
JD for Test lead - VoIP
Responsibilities:
a) Responsible for test suite development of SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), SIPI, RTCP, M3UA, DTMF, Signalling over IP.
b) Creation of test set up to emulate the above mentioned features using open source linux based softwares.
c) Creation of test plans, test scripts and API creation.
d) Review of team s deliverables.
e) Tracking Project schedule.
Primary Skills:
a) Experience in testing SIP, RTCP, DTMF, Signalling over IP.
b) Experience working with open source linux based softwares (SIP, RTCP, M3UA, DTMF etc).
c) Experience in creating test plans.
d) Debugging Test failures .
e) Knowledge and experience with protocol analysers such as Wireshark
f) Strong domain knowledge in VOIP
g) The person should be able work as an individual contributor with little or no guidance
h) The person also should be able to guide a small team.
Secondary skills:
a) Automating the test plans.
b) Knowledge in Python/ Tcl.
