Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation of Concrete setting out and Reinforcement placing Shop drawings with Bar bending schedule (BBS)
- Preparation of Bridge elements such Pile, Pile caps, Abutments, Pier, Pier Cap Beam, Diaphragm, PT Deck Slab, Approach Slab, Barrier concrete dimension and setting out shop drawing shop drawings according to the road profile & Contract drawing.
- Prepare the Levels for vertical and Horizontal alignment structures level and find the setting out coordinate points for each edge of concrete.
- Preparation of shop drawing for Bearing setting out, Bearing Alignment and Bearing Concrete grouting.
- Provide clear details of all embedded items in concrete dimension shop drawing.
- Preparation of Structural Rebar Placing drawings and Bar bending Schedule (BBS) as per BS8666:2005.
- Raising RFI and Sketches preparation for design drawing conflict.
- Coordinate with Site team, Consultants and Contractors to ensure the constructability and effectiveness of the Designs.
- Coordination with Site teams and provide adjustments as necessary.
- Excellent communication and co-ordination with team members
- Able to understand the Engineers instructions, both oral and written, and convert such
instructions into drawings/models. - Able to understand drawings of other discipline such as structural drawings and Architectural
drawings.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE - Minimum 5 years experience as Structural Draftsman
- Must have experience in Bar Bending Schedule (BBS)
EDUCATION AND TRAINING - Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related course
