Job Description
Our client is a large construction company is currently looking for a Tax Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring that the company is tax Compliant in the UAE, KSA, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Egypt. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the job holder will prepare VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, Payroll Tax declarations in the countries that the Company operates, where applicable. He/she will work with Tax Consultants to make sure compliance with all tax rules. Furthermore, he/she will prepare transfer pricing documentation as per the Tax Laws of the UAE, KSA, Qatar and any other country that may introduce transfer pricing reporting requirements.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA, CMA is an advantage.
- Tax experience in the UAE and/or KSA
- Knowledge of Taxation Rules in the UAE and in KSA
- Knowledge of Taxation Methodology in General
- Knowledge of general accounting and IFRS
- Minimum 8 years of exemplary level related experience, and construction sector experience is a plus.
