Assistant Manager Internal Audit

Responsibilities:
• Under supervision, conducts risk assessment of Group’s operational, financial, marketing & administrative activities.
• Reviews feedback and implementation status on audit recommendations.
• Verifies documentation relating to transactions and ensure compliance with exposure and authority limits, and other limits and framework approved by the management.
• Develops solutions to counter operational & financial weaknesses and for business controls, risk assessment and quality controls.
• Through the audit process anticipates business problems. Evaluates impact and recommends solutions.
• Prepares audit reports with analysis, appraisals, and recommendations.
• Creates awareness and ensures implementation of controls as well as sound business practices & processes.
• Assists the Audit Segment Manager to provide effective input to functional levels in respect to investment decisions, strategies and feasibility studies.
• Assists the Audit Segment Manager in the development of corporate policies, financial / operational systems and procedures and the implementation of effective controls that lend to accurate reporting of financial results.
