Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:
• Select and/or source construction materials.
• Measure and value the work done on site (support on measured contracts if and when applicable)Liaise with internal stakeholders and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers.
• Quantify BoQ template (unit estimates) based on final designs (Civil, Architectural, MEP, FLS, etc.)Prepare tender documents, draft contracts, estimate budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.
• Continuously improve the schedule of rates across 5 countries.
• Support project managers in procuring or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project.
• Track changes to the design and/or construction work and keep track of variations.
• Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project.
• Support on project CAPEX estimates.
• Benchmark material finishes options / equipment and suggest VE options to continuously drive down the CAPEX costs at the same quality.
