1.Strategic Planning
• Reskilling and upskilling : work closely with the L&D manager to identify training needs and assist the L&D function in aligning training programs with business objectives
• Strategic workforce planning : ensure the company's workforce has the right , shape, cost and agility for the future objectives
• Succession Planning : work closely with the L&D manager to select and develop key talents to ensure there are talents to fill in critical roles
• Evaluate staffing needs
• Manage and allocate HR funds
• Develop HR strategies, policies and practices
• Improve and monitor employee productivity.
• Oversee recruitment efforts
• Develop solutions to help the business area to deliver its strategy
• Collaborate with other HR team members on implementing innovative and inclusive recruitment strategies
• Maintain a healthy Emiratization for all positions with respect to culture understanding.
2. Coaching and consulting leadership about HR matters
• Conduct weekly or bi-weekly meetings with business leaders and provide HR advice where necessary
• Maintain a current awareness and knowledge of UAE Labour laws and regulations, as well as other legal requirements regarding HR management to help leaders ensure compliance
• Ensure compliance with all Equal Employment Opportunity and other government legal and corporate requirements
• Consult with line management and provide guidance on implementation of HR processes and policies
• Work with teams, managers and key stakeholders to help build organization and people capability
• work closely with the business area and help it to implement the business strategy from HR perspective
• Coach and provide feedback to key stakeholders to help improve business efficiency
3. Building a competitive organization
• Conduct day-to day performance management guidance to line managers (for example mentoring, career planning, coaching etc).
• Help line managers deal with organizational, people and change relates issues
• Optimize organizational design to increase productivity and improve performance of the business
• Assist in developing a future proof compensation and benefits strategy
• Work closely with the Engagement specialist to reward and recognize interventions to increase bottom line results and employee engagement
• Shape and implement effective HR strategies and activities within the organization
4. Being a company culture and employee experience champion
• Provide advice and suggestions for culture-related initiatives, such as cultural transformation
• Implement HRM interventions on employee wellness, diversity and inclusion, and talent management.
• Work together with management and personnel to solve conflicts and help facilitate positive employee relations, maintain a good working environment, build morale, and decrease unwanted turnover
• Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
• Question and challenge others to get to the root of HR and business issues
• Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
• Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Management Team or the HRD
