About HUNNA
Founded in 2021 by Océane Sailly, HUNNA / هُنَّ is a contemporary art gallery representing women artists based in the Gulf. Tackling questions of power, of the female body and its representation, of the erased mythology of the Arabian peninsula, of environmental changes, of the struggle of the youth and the weight and contradictions of cultural and societal norms, Hunna/ هُنَّ’s artists are developing cutting edge visual languages and researches that challenges through art dominant historical, social and political narratives as well as (mis)representations.
