Walk-in interview for Heavy Truck Drivers - Canada Recruitment

• Physically fit and able to lift repeatedly, stack, pull and carry heavy items (up to 80 lbs)
  
• Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
  
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
  
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
  
• Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
  
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
  
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
  

Requirements

• 2 years of verified work experience as a truck driver
  
• English language proficiency IELTS CLB 4
  
• Driving license from your home country or country of residence
  
• Criminal background search
  
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
  
• Strong communication and customer service skills with English fluency
  
• Previous professional driving experience is preferred
  
• Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature and road conditions
  
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  
• Must be goal oriented with a positive, can do attitude
  
• This position requires punctuality and attention to data
  
  

Benefits

• Starting wage: $21 - $32/hr. + Incentives (30 to 40 hours/week).
  
• Shift: Starting between 4 - 6 AM.
