Job Summary: - Be responsible for Channel Promotions, advertising, events and marketing activities in Modern Trade, C&G, QSR and Special Channels, Trade marketing projects and merchandising management, inclusive of marketing materials, premiums, promotion redemption systems and equipment branding. Principle Responsibilities Coordinating and Executing Channel Promotions - Co-ordinate and supervise execution of innovative channel promotions, advertising, events and marketing activities designed to drive volume and profitability by leveraging customers to communicate brand message, building brand equity. - Liaise with sales as to channel specific advertising, promotions, print production and premium needs - Monthly Trade Marketing Fact sheets for all channels - Co-ordinate POSM deployment for on-going channel requirements and national or channel promotions, co-ordination of redemption of promotional premiums. - Co-ordinate promotion FS with plant/sales/procurement, monitoring sales generated production FS and calibrating with PAM. - Supports and co-ordinates with the Marketing Coordinator/marketing team obtaining municipality approvals for all promotions. - Brief and coordinate with procurement costing of premiums and printed items. - Be responsible for POP/raw material tracking and recommending premium allocation - Raise and coordinate all related LPRs, GRNs and follow-up with procurement on premiums delivery, co-packing timings and costs. Reporting, Evaluating and Assisting - Evaluate promotions and activities and review learning - Manage Livery (Corporate Identity) management of Equipment Graphics – machinery graphics, POP and development thereof. - Brief and manage advertising agencies and other third party suppliers as to delegated marketing projects and liaison with suppliers / agencies with regard to delivery of marketing material. - Execute all related POSM, branding and product distribution - Visit the market, monitor market execution and report as requested Managing the Projects - Manage the top-shops inventory and budget (and any channel media or presence) and liaise with suppliers for related jobs. - Manage the AC Nielsen monthly report, generate monthly reports for the Consumer Marketing Manager as requested. - Coordinate and supervise the marketing coordinator Education, experience and skills: - University Degree in Marketing - 2 to 3 years experience in Trade marketing and communications (above and below the line) or related fields, with a basis in project management - Sales / field or trade marketing background preferable. - Attention to details - Mathematical reasoning, fast action, proactive personality - Sales and marketing knowledge, trade marketing experience and knowledge
