- Support the Finance Team with internal and external resources to implement company tax savings strategies. Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.
- Build relationships and interact with tax authorities & tax advisory firms to provide innovative tax planning & consultation.
- Providing tax subject matter expertise to various business lines including Business Development, Marketing, Legal, Customer Service, and various product groups. Undertaking tax planning initiatives from end to end.
- Reviewing new business initiatives and assisting with identifying Zakat/ indirect tax impacts on the business.
- Supporting the Group Tax team in providing end-to-end tax requirements for projects and business initiatives, the candidate will work closely with cross-functional team members to scope these requirements.
- Researching and advising on various Zakat, direct, and indirect tax matters from the perspective of UAE and KSA business.
- Support on tax compliance and controversial initiatives.
- Managing and coordinating tax audits, including audit preparation, responding to document requests, Litigation support, etc., as may be required.
