Our client, one of Greater Manchesters leading law firms, are seeking fee earners to enforce settlement agreements and ensure work is carried out following the settlement of their disrepair claim. This role is vital for our client as it ensures the highest possible standard of client care.
This is an excellent opportunity to enter housing litigation for those from a wider litigation background such as Personal Injury or Credit Hire. Advocacy experience would be a major asset as would management experience.
Requirements
Key tasks (not an exhaustive list)
To liaise with clients and ensure agreed work is carried out.
To arrange post inspection of the property
To take witness statements where necessary
To undertake part 8 proceedings and / or applications for breach of agreement
Personal Skills
Excellent communication skills and good telephone manner
Confident and dynamic
Highly organised and self-motivated
Highly IT literate
Experience
6 years volume litigation experience (Grade C and above)
Case Management Systems (Proclaim is used) experience would be advantageous but not essential
