Stakeholder Engineer

Dentolo is one of the fastest-growing insurance start-ups in Europe and you will work together with us on providing the digital backbone of our insurance platform.

Your work will range from customer-focused development to workflow automation and internal tools to help our team and customers have a seamless experience

Your primary tasks will be:

• Setting up and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS to host the set of applications that make up our platform
• Designing and implementing automation processes for rapid and continuous deployment of new code and updates
• Monitoring the performance of our applications and infrastructure, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing the environment to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability
• Troubleshooting issues that arise with our infrastructure or applications, identifying the root cause of problems, and implementing solutions to resolve them
• Ensuring that our infrastructure and applications meet the necessary security and compliance standards to protect user data

What you need to be successful:

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer
• Hands-on experience with the AWS platform (EC2, S3, RDS, ECS) and clear understanding of the use cases
• Proficiency with the infrastructure as code tools. At least one year of experience with Terraform
• Understanding of networking concepts and the ability to design and implement scalable and secure network architectures.
• Knowledge of AWS security best practices, including IAM, security groups, and encryption
• Ability to use AWS monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, and third-party tools such as Datadog to monitor the performance and availability of AWS resources
• Being a team player and like helping people to tackle their problems
• Paying attention to details, keeping your code clean and tidy
• Contributing to a good and agile development environment
• Having great spoken and written English

Technologies we use:

• Our services are hosted at AWS and Heroku
• We use Codeship as CI/CD and are migrating to Github Workflows
• On the Back-end we use ruby, Ruby on Rails, and many other open-source libraries. We also use Elixir
• On the front-end Front-end: React, GraphQL
• We use RDS for PostgreSQL and AWS Elasticahe for Redis
• We have search ElasticSearch engine at AWS OpenSearch Service
