Sr Specialist, HSE

Responsibilities:
• Evaluate the adequacy of ENOC HSE standards and guidelines; and identify gaps, and potential threats & opportunities. Make recommendations and implement decided actions to improve effectiveness of HSE MS, standards, and guidelines in managing HSE and process safety risks across ENOC group
• Collaborate internally with Segment and BUs HSE managers and functional managers in development and review of HSE MS, standards and guidelines
• Participate in select Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs), PHSERs, risk assessment workshops, and incident investigations
• Provide specialized technical support, advice, and guidance including capability enhancement support to ENOC businesses in implementation of corporate HSE MS and standards; and in defining and executing fit-for-purpose compliance including assessment tools / mechanisms.
• Bring forth innovative ideas and solutions aligned with operational excellence framework to continuously improve ENOC HSE performance and culture
• Provide inputs on the development of HSE strategic plans and directions for the entire ENOC Group in consultation with Segments and BUs
• Develop and deliver trainings on advanced HSE and process safety management system topics such as HSE MS, MOC, Incident reporting and investigations, etc.
• Ensure a thorough and consistent understanding and application of corporate HSE MS, standards and strategies throughout ENOC group. Develop and implement strategies for effective and timely communication of changes including introducing new standards / guidelines etc.
• Develop, maintain, review, continually improve and support implementation of ENOC corporate HSE management system, standards, guidelines, and procedures to effectively manage personal and process safety thorough assessment of operational HSE risks, regulatory requirements, international codes & standards, and industry best practices
• Design and implement programs to improve implementation of HSE MS and standards and address prevailing operational issues across ENOC
• Participate in independent verification and assurance of HSE MS and standards implementation across ENOC group through appropriate KPIs, and by leading/participating in GHSE audits & supporting external audits & reviews.
• Develop, maintain, review, and continually improve HSE design standards and specifications for process safety & personal safety in consultation with the subject matter specialists
