Senior Engineer Structural Buildings

• Supervise structural works during construction of residential commercial mixed-use and high-rise building projects.
• Review and monitor contractors structural activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings specifications and contract requirements.
• Inspect reinforcement formwork concrete works structural steel post-tensioning works and other structural elements.
• Monitor project progress and report on structural construction activities.
• Coordinate with architects MEP engineers project managers contractors and authorities.
• Review shop drawings method statements material submittals and requests for inspection (RFIs).
• Conduct site inspections and prepare inspection reports.
• Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Attend progress meetings and technical coordination meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality Trakhees DDA DEWA and other relevant authority requirements where applicable.
• Verify quality control procedures and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Support project handover activities and preparation of final documentation.

Qualifications :

Education

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering.
• Masters Degree in Structural Engineering is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
• At least 3-5 years of UAE/Dubai experience in building construction supervision projects.
• Experience in high-rise residential commercial hospitality or mixed-use developments.
• Consultancy supervision experience is highly preferred.

Additional Information :

• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel design principles.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality regulations UAE building codes and international standards.
• Experience reviewing structural shop drawings and design documentation.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies and quality assurance procedures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD ETABS SAFE STAAD Pro and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with BIM/Revit is an advantage.
