SAP Project Manager
Location: Dubai
SAP Skills
- 12 to 15 years of experience in two or more SAP modules or submodules.
- At least four full life-cycle implementation projects (from Blueprint/Explore through Go-Live).
- Understands SAP Activate Methodology.
- Understands integration between modules.
- Ability to work in both Pre-Sales as well as implementation teams.
- Ability to interpret customer requirements into SAP functionality identify fit/gap as well as technical solutions for gaps.
- Lead detailed module specific explore sessions.
- Ability to use Service Marketplace to create tickets research notes review release notes and solution roadmaps as well as provide guidance to customers on release strategy.
- Understands complete Module/Application specific SAP functionality as well as integration points with other modules.
- Understands how to utilize SAP s Functionality/Integration to meet business requirements.
- Effectively plans configuration and master data development.
- Ability to estimate resources needed to meet customer requirements.
- Ensures SAP is meeting project objectives/vision.
Responsibilities
- Assist in various projects and change request related to technology and service transitions. Manage reporting and resolution of issues risks and dependencies proactively identifying potential planning gaps implementing mitigations to risks and driving actions to close issues.
- Provide project leadership to include ability to discuss and champion the business case for change to a business audience and actively participate and execute high value business solutions. Role includes planning and deployment budget management risk management systems integration and software development.
- Create and negotiate statements of work planning and milestone creation financial reporting. Fluent in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working with offshore development rationalizing development work and leading execution.
- Assist in managing the approach tools and processes that will be used to support business transition events.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with others.
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word Excel PowerPoint and Visio.

- Understands business functionality related to SAP module/application as well as can identify and understand touch points between modules.

- Develops new professional peer relationships for additional business or possible new consultants.
- Helps develop overall marketing messages.
- Communicates project resource requirements to staffing coordinator/clients.
- Ensures quality implementation (works with QA program).
- Participates in Pre-Sales as part of the client pursuit team.
- Presents at conferences (SAPPHIRE ASUG HERUG etc.)
