Safety Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Safety Engineer to oversee Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) compliance across large-scale industrial warehouse logistics and commercial construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with OSHAD UAE HSE regulations client safety requirements and international best practices while promoting a proactive safety culture throughout all project phases.

Requirements

• Implement and monitor project HSE plans policies and procedures in accordance with UAE regulations and client requirements.
  
• Conduct routine site safety inspections audits and workplace hazard assessments.
  
• Prepare and review Risk Assessments (RA) Job Safety Analyses (JSA) Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS/MS) and HSE documentation.
  
• Monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems including hot work confined space excavation electrical isolation and lifting operations.
  
• Ensure safe execution of high-risk activities including lifting operations working at height structural steel erection scaffolding excavation and heavy equipment operations.
  
• Deliver site safety inductions toolbox talks awareness campaigns and HSE training programs.
  
• Monitor compliance with PPE requirements housekeeping standards and safe work practices.
  
• Investigate incidents accidents near misses and unsafe acts; prepare investigation reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  
• Coordinate emergency preparedness plans mock drills evacuation procedures and first aid arrangements.
  
• Ensure compliance with OSHAD requirements Abu Dhabi HSE regulations project HSE plans and client standards.
  
• Coordinate with Project Managers Site Engineers subcontractors consultants and client HSE representatives on safety matters.
  
• Prepare daily weekly and monthly HSE reports statistics and compliance documentation.
  
• Support internal and external HSE audits and ensure timely close-out of observations and NCRs.
  
• Promote a proactive safety culture through continuous monitoring and employee engagement.
