Rigging Supervisor

We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Rigging Supervisor in Abu Dhabi Abu Dhabi Emirate UAE. Our client is a reputed organization in the Oil & Gas sector seeking skilled motivated professionals. If you meet the requirements below apply early as positions are limited.

• Supervise rigging and lifting activities at the Oil & Gas project site while ensuring safe execution of operations.
  
• Coordinate crane movements rigging crews lifting equipment and associated site activities.
  
• Review lifting requirements and ensure rigging arrangements are appropriate for the intended load.
  
• Inspect slings shackles wire ropes hooks lifting beams and other rigging equipment before use.
  
• Ensure lifting and rigging activities comply with project safety procedures and applicable site requirements.
  
• Conduct pre-lift briefings and communicate lifting procedures hazards and responsibilities to rigging personnel.
  
• Monitor lifting operations and stop work when unsafe conditions equipment defects or deviations are identified.
  
• Coordinate with crane operators safety personnel supervisors and other site teams during lifting operations.
  

1. Rigging Operations Strong practical understanding of industrial rigging and lifting activities.
   
2. Lifting Safety Ability to identify hazards and maintain safe lifting practices.
   
3. Rigging Equipment Inspection Knowledge of inspecting lifting accessories and identifying unsafe equipment.
   
4. Crane Coordination Ability to coordinate riggers signalers and crane operators during lifting activities.
   
5. Lift Planning Understanding of load handling lifting sequences and safe rigging arrangements.
   

• Oil & Gas project/site experience.
  
• Familiarity with lifting plans toolbox talks and permit-to-work environments.
  
• Knowledge of internationally recognized rigging and lifting safety practices.
