Receiving Agent

Responsible for coordinating and monitoring the receiving of goods and services ensuring all deliveries meet approved quality quantity pricing contractual and Rixos Hotels standards. The role supports Purchasing Stores Cost Control and operational departments while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify received goods against purchase orders contracts specifications quantities prices and quality standards.

• Coordinate delivery schedules with the Storekeeper and relevant departments.

• Identify discrepancies and coordinate the return or replacement of non-compliant goods.

• Ensure purchase orders invoices and receiving documents are accurately processed.

• Assist the Purchasing Chief with supplier coordination market and price research and purchasing activities.

• Support supplier visits stock counts and cost control activities as required.

• Coordinate urgent and small-quantity purchasing requirements with the Purchasing Driver.

• Ensure all purchasing and receiving activities comply with Rixos Hotels policies procedures quality standards and Code of Conduct.

• Coordinate with the Storekeeper and relevant departments to ensure smooth and accurate receiving operations.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or relevant vocational qualification; a degree in Purchasing Supply Chain Hospitality or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a Receiving Purchasing Stores or Cost Control role preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Good knowledge of goods receiving purchase orders invoices stock control and supplier coordination.
