- Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercial products: Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
- Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
- Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
- Supervises training programs for new employees in his units. Ensures following of relevant fire &safety.
- Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.
- Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.
- Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
- Prepares production and planning reports
- Make sure all the production Sales Orders has a Job Orders against the line order
- Update BOM and routing of the Job Orders/ Monitor the daily output of the production Job Orders (daily Job Completion & Daily job operation Status)
- Monitor BOM of the status of the running orders of the job Orders created
- Utilized the nonmoving items in the FG Store or cancelled orders prior to Job Order creation
- Recommend exchange order as per the condition of the non-lifted materials in FG store
- Submit the job summary daily for the status and schedule purposes.
