As Pizza Chef at Papas youll be at the heart of our kitchen crafting pizzas that are as comforting as Nonnas hug and as joyful as a shared bottle of Chianti. Youll take pride in creating honest flavourful dishes that reflect the wholesome warmth of Italys culinary traditions every dough hand-stretched every pizza fired to perfection.

• Prepare and proof dough daily using traditional techniques and Papas signature recipe

• Hand-stretch pizzas and manage cooking using a wood-fired or stone deck oven

• Maintain high standards of freshness hygiene and kitchen cleanliness at all times

• Ensure consistency in flavour texture and visual presentation of each pizza

• Collaborate with the culinary team on specials and seasonal dishes

• Support prep and mise en place to ensure smooth service flow

• Uphold all food safety hygiene and HACCP standards

• Be an ambassador of our culture warm professional and proud of every plate

• Have 24 years of experience in a busy pizzeria or trattoria-style kitchen

• Understand the science of dough hydration fermentation and flavour

• Are confident with traditional Italian techniques and open-fire or deck ovens

• Work clean fast and calm under pressure

• Have a deep respect for honest ingredients and soulful cooking

• Are a team player with a generous spirit and genuine love for hospitality
