• Establish and maintains quality assurance standards, procedures and controls.
  
• Coordinates receiving inspection, in-process and final inspection.
  
• Works directly with Manufacturing to schedule and control inspection activities and to enforce requirements as specified by raw materials, ingredients, products and package specifications and regulatory agencies.
  
• Supervises and trains all Inspection Personnel to Commercial and Military Specifications.
  
• Attends production meetings and assigns priorities to all levels of inspection review.
  
• Reviews and approves test data, repair evaluations, certificates of compliance, and other customer required documentation.
  
• Responsible for final disposition of discrepancy reports, material correction notices and source inspection reports.
  
• Reviews and approves work orders for completeness and accuracy.
  
• Responsible for MRB action. Coordinates between Engineering, Design and Drafting, Test, Manufacturing, and Purchasing.
  
• Insures that all incoming material is properly accounted for.
  
• Makes provisions for Government or customer source inspection when required.
  
• Coordinates Quality Control and training between the company and other facilities.
  
• Initiates the shipping process for final products. Reviews and approves shipping documentation.
  

Requirements

• BS degree or equivalent required in an engineering or relevant science field.
  
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary work environment and exhibit good inter-personal skills to support and promote quality events with customers and vendors.
  
• Excellent communications skills, both oral and written a must.
