Marketing Executive

Responsibilities:
• Lead, manage and co-ordinate participation in trade and consumer related events
• Lead and manage hospitality functions, also after hours and on weekends
• To attend functions and events from time to time which may occur during or after working hours
• Lead and manage the database for the company’s clients and suppliers (trade/media/consumer) for statistical, sales and marketing purposes
• Lead enhancements / changes to the company’s website, as directed by Marketing & Communications Manager/DOSM
• To undertake trips in terms of the company’s sales and marketing strategies when required
• Maintain records of S&M department expenditure and process purchase orders with approval by and on behalf of DOSM and Marketing & Communications Manager
• Handle emails in the absence of the Manager/Director Marketing & Communications, and action / forwarding all urgent queries
• Copywriting and proofing of marketing & sales materials
• When required, assist sales and marketing team members with specific tasks and projects
• To attend meetings and tradeshows where necessary
• Arrange and co-ordinate meetings, appointments
• Participating in and recording media engagements and building the internal media database
• Managing sales brochure features following approval from DOSM
• Pro-actively ensure all sales and marketing related presentations used by the office adhere to brand standards
• Co-work with Marketing & Communications Manager and PR and advertising agencies to ensure conformity to company budgets and standards when implementing promotional, sales, marketing and communications strategies
• Co-work with Marketing & Communications Manager to plan and undertake familiarization trips with pre-selected media and trade
• Taking minutes for internal meetings and the distribution thereof if necessary
