Job Purpose

To maintain production machines and utilities in safe reliable and efficient operating condition by performing preventive maintenance troubleshooting machine breakdowns supporting root-cause analysis and following approved maintenance and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns of injection moulding blow moulding EBM/IBM printing and auxiliary equipment.

• Perform preventive maintenance lubrication inspections and component replacements as per approved checklists.

• Troubleshoot mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic faults.

• Maintain and support compressors air dryers chillers pumps and cooling-water systems.

• Inspect and troubleshoot motors sensors control panels contactors starters VFDs/servos PLC/HMI systems and interlocks as applicable.

• Maintain hydraulic pumps valves cylinders pneumatic systems solenoid valves and pressure circuits.

• Follow safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Permit to Work (PTW) PPE electrical isolation and machine guarding.

• Maintain maintenance job cards spare-parts consumption records and shift handover documentation.

• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce repeated machine breakdowns.

• Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager for spare parts major repairs and technical issues.

Required Skills and Experience

• 26 years of experience in industrial maintenance; plastic manufacturing experience is preferred.

• Knowledge of injection moulding blow moulding EBM/IBM machines and related auxiliary equipment.

• Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

• Knowledge of bearings gearboxes couplings alignment lubrication motors sensors and control circuits.

• Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Basic knowledge of PLC HMI VFD/servo systems and automation components.

• Ability to use a multimeter and other approved testing equipment safely.

• Good troubleshooting problem-solving teamwork and documentation skills.

• Strong commitment to workplace safety and preventive maintenance procedures.
