Lifting Supervisor

Job Description Key Roles & Responsibilities • Develop and review lift plans for critical, standard, and non-standard lifts, as well as Job Safety Analysis documents. • Verify that the selected cranes and lifting equipment are adequate for the load and are current regarding inspection and testing status. • Check that the lifting accessories used in the lifting operations are proper and ensure that the competency of the lifting personnel is adequate. • Lead pre-lift meetings to ensure that all affected personnel are aware of communication lines, communication and signaling means, work management requirements, SIMOPS procedures, and emergency procedures. • Manage the inventory of lifting equipment and working as the Rigging Lifts controller. • Verify that the color codes of all lifting gear match the current color-coding system. • Maintain a safe environment in the yard for the working manpower. • Ensure the smooth functioning of equipment within your working area. • Supervise the proper and safe handling of all equipment and the adherence to safety regulations. • Strictly follow all work procedures and implementing best practices and policies where appropriate. • Identify significant risks within own operational area and continuously assessing these risks. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
