About the role:

They are looking for additional legal support to add experience to their team, someone who can take the lead with the contracting process and who can manage the real estate development process from A to Z and knows what and who should be involved when it comes to:

• SPA drafting / signing / attesting
• Which authority approvals are required
• What the set of contracts should be prepared to close the deal (buy land plots, sell residential units, manage the operations in the building and etc).

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive legal support, particularly in navigating the intricacies of the contracting process and overseeing the entire real estate development lifecycle. Arabic speaking skills would be strongly beneficial to deal with local authorities and courts. A good candidate would have experience in similar companies, who has worked with the DIFC authorities, who has some corporate knowledge of structure and governance and can support our agreements. They need the experience necessary to scale with the business and guide from the current situation to where we intend to be in several years.

Requirements:

• UAE / GCC experience, in small to medium sized companies.
• Real estate, construction, or broker background.
• Luxury and high-cost real estate market knowledge.
• Very good, presentable English and Arabic speaking.
• In-depth understanding of local governing bodies and regulatory entities.
• Strong interpersonal skills or management experience.
• UAE Federal AML, CTF and CPF legislation.
• Experience and exposure to the Real Estate and Construction Market.
• 1 month notice period.
