Legal Counsel

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
• Admitted as a legal practitioner in a State or Territory in Australia and/or extensive work experience in Australia.
• Minimum 10 years’ post admission experience in private practice and in-house position, ideally in an MNC.
• Strong corporate and commercial contract review skills.
• Knowledgeable in the legal and compliance requirement in Hong Kong, Mainland, Macau, and Taiwan.
• Experience in dealing with regulatory and compliance matters and take on positions such as DPO.
• Business acumen, with the ability to balance commercial and legal considerations to deliver commercial solutions.
• Analytical ability and high attention to detail.
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and drive outcomes through peer and senior management involvement.
• Strong organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Excellent communications skills in both Chinese and English languages.
