Learning Support Assistant (Secondary)

You will be providing personalised support on a 1:1 and small group basis with secondary students aged between Year 7 and Year 11.

The ideal candidate

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• experience of providing core subject support to secondary aged students (Years 7 – 11)
• experience of supporting students with special educational needs or learning difficulties e.g planning and delivering small group and 1:1 support sessions for students with dyslexia or learning difficulties
• previous and relevant experience of working as a Learning Support Assistant or secondary teacher
• previous experience of working within the British curriculum across secondary to GCSE/IGCSE level
• relevant qualifications
• a good rapport with young people
• a genuine passion for education
• strong interpersonal skills
• a friendly and professional manner
• strong English skills – spoken and written
