Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join our construction team for high-rise commercial residential and villa projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building construction surveying ensuring accurate setting out level control and as-built surveys while maintaining compliance with project specifications and UAE construction standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out all surveying works required for building construction projects.
• Perform site setting out layout alignment and level control based on approved drawings.
• Establish and maintain survey control points and benchmarks.
• Operate surveying equipment including Total Station GPS Auto Level and Digital Level.
• Verify dimensions coordinates and elevations before and during construction activities.
• Prepare and maintain accurate survey records calculations field notes and reports.
• Prepare as-built surveys and coordinate with engineering and drafting teams for as-built drawings.
• Conduct quantity and topographic surveys whenever required.
• Monitor structural alignment verticality and settlement during construction.
• Coordinate with Project Managers Site Engineers Consultants and Subcontractors to ensure survey accuracy.
• Ensure all survey activities comply with approved shop drawings project specifications and consultant requirements.
• Assist in resolving site discrepancies related to coordinates levels and dimensions.
• Maintain calibration and proper handling of surveying instruments.
• Follow company HSE policies and ensure safe survey practices on site.
• Support project teams during inspections consultant approvals and handover activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Surveying or a related discipline.
• Professional certification in Land Surveying is an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 6 years of UAE experience as a Land Surveyor in building construction projects.
• Experience in high-rise residential commercial mixed-use or villa projects is preferred.
• Strong understanding of UAE construction standards and surveying practices.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Total Station GPS Auto Level Digital Level and other surveying instruments.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering structural and architectural drawings.
• Familiarity with coordinate systems survey computations and as-built documentation.
• Good knowledge of QA/QC requirements related to surveying works.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods will be preferred.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
• Experience working with major consultants and developers in the UAE is highly desirable.
