Our client is one of the largest importers and exporters of commodity products in the African region.
They are currently recruiting aIT Project Coordinator. This position reports to the Regional Coordinator and Chief Information Technology Officer.
Purpose of the Position
This position will be responsible to plan, oversee and execute digital projects.
The role will require to ensure full accountability and responsibility to see through all the projects (SAP, whatâs app, POS etc.) through from inception to completion. Will have ultimate responsibility for meeting the businesses user needs and satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
- Will work as bridge between business users and central IT team ensuring user issues/requirements are adequately understood and documented and co-ordinate with Central IT team for delivery of the same.
- Maintain an appropriate communication between business users and Central IT team to ensure users are updated on progress to avoid escalations to senior management.
- Developing schedules and methods for measuring results
- Guiding and performing strategic analysis for the project
- Organising and managing all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion
- Assembling and coordinating project team members; assigning individual responsibilities
- Integration of various digital solutions (POS, Whats app, Mobile app, Kynoch Precise, etc) on one platform and linked to SAP system.
- Planning and overseeing the preparation and dissemination of project communications
- Liaising with stakeholders such as project personnel, vendors, and end-users regarding project requirements.
- Maintaining a good working knowledge of assigned component projects.
Qualifications and Certifications
- Overall around 5-7 Years of experience in Software development+SAP
- Certification in Business Analysis from a college/institute of repute
- Expertise in capturing requirements in a structured manner with use case and workflow diagram
- Expertise in Visio and other similar diagramming tools
- Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals.
- Good understanding of software development life cycle.
- Good knowledge of SAP, preferably in FICO, SD and MM module
- Good knowledge of front and backend solutions, Preferably SQl, .net/java
- Outstanding in user/stakeholder management and time management skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
