IT Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the organizations IT infrastructure including hardware software networks and servers.
• Install configure and update software and hardware systems as needed.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to ensure minimal downtime.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organizations data and network infrastructure.
• Provide technical support and assistance to employees addressing any ITrelated issues or concerns promptly.
• Manage user accounts permissions and access levels.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to IT systems processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT vendors and service providers to resolve issues and implement new technologies.
• Stay current with technological advancements and best practices in the field of IT administration.
• Assist in IT projects and initiatives as assigned by IT management.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPN etc.).
• Proficiency in administering Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware HyperV etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services (AWS Azure Google Cloud etc.).
• Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A Network Security Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) etc.) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ITIL framework or other IT service management methodologies.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell Bash Python etc.).
• Knowledge of database administration (SQL Server MySQL PostgreSQL etc.).
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
