Your day to day
Responsible for the entire Human Resources functions including Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, reward & recognitions, performance management, statutory compliance etc.

Duties and responsibilities
• Participate in the preparation of and work within the established Human Resources department budget.
• Identify and analyse local compensation and benefits practices to ensure financial competitiveness.
• Be the cultural ambassador to drive IHG ways of working at the hotel (Winning Ways)
• Ensure Room to be yourself experience to hotel colleagues (IHG Commitment)
• Responsible for creating a work environment that is high in employee morale and provides constant learning & development opportunities for colleagues
• Educate and train leaders and colleagues on various topics, including performance management processes, progressive disciplinary processes, and related programmes, to foster productivity and enhance performance. • Ensure that hotel hiring standards are followed in a timely manner for recruiting and selection processes.
• Act as channel force to cultivate and drive True Hospitality culture among colleagues to deliver Great Hotels Guest Love
• Recommend and implement guest service strategies that engage colleagues to respond to changing guest needs.
• Make time to interact with guests to solicit feedback and build relationships to understand how team members can increase guest satisfaction.
• Work with department managers to develop initiatives to achieve service standards and drive continuous improvement in the guest experience
• Drive IHG Corporate Responsibility Initiatives at the hotel (IHG Academy and True Hospitality for Good activities etc)
• Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community and promote team member involvement in local community
. • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and hotel or company policies and procedures
. • Research and investigate all workplace issues to discover facts, identify potential risks to the hotel or company, and facilitate resolution through your employee relations programmes.
• Perform other duties as assigned. May also serve as manager on duty.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent with 6-8 years of experience in Human Resources domain.
